Message Finally... I don't know how long it's been like this but at least since June at Z Con when Greg D. was kind enough to put a fuel pressure gauge on it.

In pure desperation I pulled the fuel filter and the fuel damper and ran straight hose, with my Aeromotive adjustable FPR.

Just went out for a spin and at 10psi pressure hit 53 and hung steady. At 18psi it hit 60 and didn't waver! :-)

I'm not sure whether it's the fuel filter or the damper. After it cools off for a few minutes I'll go put the filter back in and try it again.

If it turns out to be the damper then it was just a flat faulty Nissan part because I bought it brand new about 2 years ago and it's only got about 6,000 miles on it. :-(

Assuming it IS the damper, does anybody know if it's cool to run without it at all given that I have the aftermarket FPR? It's supposed to smooth out sudden pressure changes, so I don't want to just bypass it if it'll cause me problems down the line.

It felt really nice finally pulling all the way to the top! Now I have to stick her back on the dyno and retune the AFC. I set it back to flatline after I discovered the problems.

Mr. K gets it!
